Semi. At the age of 15, Semi Lai began her first vocal training in Hong Kong. She dived into Jazz, Soul and R&B scene and was deeply inspired by her vocal coaches Camila Meza, Janaia Farrell and Ela Alegre to deepen her musical knowledge and skills.

As a versatile singer, Semi has been performing over the past 7 years in Hong Kong, New York, and is currently based in Dubai. Her past performances include supporting Rony Afif at the fridge concert series, Pizza Express, Zaya Hideout, Cubano lito, Tai Po Arts Festival(Hong Kong) and a variety of other events, including functions, weddings, bars, hotels, malls. With experience in Pop, Jazz, Hip-hop, Soul, Funk, R&B, Rock and Musicals, Semi’s repertoire spans over 400 songs in English, French, Cantonese, Mandarin and Japanese. 

Semi is also a singer-songwriter and music video producer. All her originals are available on various platforms, including YouTube , iTunes and Spotify.
